Why Would You Choose to Set Accesskeys?

The jury is still out on whether accesskeys are a genuinely useful accessibility feature or whether they are an obstacle. Why? Because although an accesskey can let you quickly access an element on the page, the key assigned often clashes with keys set aside for use on assistive technology or on the browser. So, rather than force them upon you, or assign keys that clash, we've given you a choice.

By default, accesskeys are switched off, but if you want to set an accesskey for any of the page elements listed above, simply enter your choice above and save this preference.

Note: this requires JavaScript to be enabled.

This page is styled using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). If you can read this message, the chances are that your browser does not properly support CSS or you have disabled this yourself. The content on this site is perfectly readable without style sheets, though; it just doesn't look quite so fancy.
